This is what I mean when I say most poor people — at least those who know what it is to be hungry — will share their last can of beans with you if you’re starving, but so many middle-class and rich people won’t give you anything from their full cupboards, always finding excuses. Also, I’ve talked to delivery people and they say the people in my low-income housing project tip better than the rich people up the hill from us. This is a thing.(via youneedacat)
I wanted to address a topic that a some had questions about it. About 2 years ago I uploaded an instagram post of a cat my bf and I at the time use to have that he named Big Nigga. Growing up, that was how I spoke, it was a universal word of endearment that was a part of circle of friends and everyone I grew up with but as soon as I saw how it affected people once I was in a larger world with people who don’t know me personally and how I grew up, and how I spoke, I understood how offensive it could be and deleted the post years back . It was a part of my vernacular for so many years growing up, I came up with people that we all used the word on a daily basis and that’s how we spoke with each other, using it in a loving, not derogatory way. It was a universal word for us but I know my reach is growing daily and it’s not a universal word for everyone. I have completely took it out of my vocabulary and know that I’m a role model for people. I 100% understand how it impacts, so I wanted to take the time to apologize and say sorry to anyone it offended.
why is this apology like 90% excuses and 10% apologizing
how are you apologizing and still using the word
like bye felicia….
Yeah and it’s been years!
I’m just saying, I think we all know who the best Jaeger pilot team would be.
one of the reasons I am on tumblr is that someone can suggest such a great thing and the artwork just follows seamlessly
