This series of mosaic mandalas was created entirely with elements foraged on the mountain and in the valley : River pebbles and stones, shale, red rocks from the high elevations, dead branches from aspen trees, bark from evergreens, cattails from the lake’s edge, dried wild grasses from yesteryear, and cut dead branches exposing the rings of the tree’s life

This metallic maze once squeezed protons into tight beams inside our Cosmotron, the most powerful particle accelerator in the world during the 1950s.
Wanna know more about our first accelerator and the discoveries it made possible? We’ve got you covered.
Back in prehistoric times it was just a free for all. God was putting antlers on everything and made 7 foot tall gophers with wings, it was a mess.
Look at this poor, impractical bastard.
The prehistoric era was God’s Deviantart stage.
Now he just hides all of his stupid-looking OCs in the ocean where no one can find them.
I can’t not reblog this
Cool colored monkey grasshopper. I bet that blue butt is to divert predators away from the head- although, aren’t his genitals just as important?
Do you learn from buggirl?
Who said that corals are just rocks??? This lively Mussidae colony was captured at night when its polyps —equipped with little stingers called nematocysts— were extended to feed. Photo: David Gruber and Vincent Pieribone.
12. I think dinner and a movie is actually tough to beat but it just depends on the dinner and the movie and the mate. I guess I am used to things like that and I haven’t really been on many atypical dates. I like sailing and picnics and cooking at home, also Putt Putt. I would like to read interesting things in one of those study rooms at a library with a dude who has different interests than me and just drink hard liquor. Just share stuffff.
17. I have never been in the same place as all of my siblings (the stepbrothers are scattered to the winds). Telling people “I have 6 older brothers” has a great scare factor, but there’s never been a time in my life when it was like all of us around the kitchen table making fun of my stepdad or talking about football or grilled meats.
In terms of my “calling” I want to be there for people bringing life into this world. All families, all babies, all bodes. I see a lifetime full of labors, all unique.
And personally I think I want to FULLY get outside of my head and projecting my mindset onto other folks so that I can be a better listener. This would also keep me from wasting my precious energy on what I THINK other people are feeling. I want to keep making people laugh (and hopefully meet a dude who makes me lose bladder control with laughter) and maybe learn how to play the drums. Those are all my goals.
